“Everyone deserves a chance to realize their athletic potential, enjoy a healthy lifestyle, and experience life in an active & functional body.”

Hi, I’m Alison Heilig. I’m a certified strength, endurance and mindful movement coach, and the author of the book, The Durable Runner: A Guide to Injury-Free Running. I train people to be more durable so they can keep at the activities they love without being derailed by injuries or burnout.

My goal is to help people like you create more empowered, awesome lives, and because of my own personal journey, I draw from a variety of disciplines to help you move into your strength and endurance with confidence, grace, and greater self-awareness.

I work with people at every fitness level, so — whether you’re just starting out, a sporadic weekend warrior, a social pavement-pounder, an adventurer, a top-level competitor, or anywhere in between — I have a coaching program to help you reach your goals. Choose the coaching option that meets you where you are right now.

Whether you’ve been running for years and dream of a sustainable practice without injuries, or you’re a new runner, who wants to build a fit body with long-term endurance, The Durable Runner: A Guide to Injury-Free Running will be a game changer for you. Hi Alison!

I really miss you and your classes at Yoga Bliss in Urbana! I wanted to see if you are teaching anywhere else nearby.

I also wanted to mention that a yoga studio is moving in right next to my work (Sage Physical Therapy & Wellness in Urbana) and it would be AWESOME if you could teach there!! It’s owned by Sue Hynes who has operated a studio out of her home in Ijamsville for many years.
